Metroparks Toledo has two volunteer opportunities for October 30.
Trick or Treehouse
Volunteers are needed to distribute candy to participants at each treehouse and tent platform. Mountain biking and rock climbing also will be available during this event. Costumes encouraged. This event is at the Treehouse Village, Beach Ridge Area, Oak Openings Preserve Metropark, from 4:45 to 10 p.m.
Glass City Art Installation
In association with the Arts Commission, Metroparks Toledo will present “ Field of Histories” a public art installation. Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting of art projects and installation. This event is at Glass City Metropark, Glass City Pavilion. Volunteers are needed for shifts: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 1:45 to 4:15 p.m. Those interested in either of these activities, may signup via Volgistics or contact Hannah Calandra at Han nah.Calandra@metroparks toledo.com or call 419-407-- 9840.
