Although some work remains to be done reconfiguring Angola Road, the new intersection at King Road has opened. On November 2, representatives from the Lucas County engineer’s office, Springfield Township and the Village of Holland gathered together to celebrate the completion.
Angola Road will remain closed to eastbound traffic until November 15, explained Josh Hazard, deputy construction manager. At that point, the road will be open to through traffic until spring 2023 when construction begins on westbound Angola leading to the roundabout.
