At the November 7 trustees meeting, the Springfield Township Fire Department accepted a memorial donation from the family of Mabel Ann Spangler. “We are presenting this on behalf of our mom, Mabel,” said Della Glenn. She expressed appreciation to the fire department for coming to her mother’s aid whenever needed.
“We certainly appreciate the support the family has given us,” Fire Chief Barry Cousino said, adding the funds will be used for community-oriented programs.
