HeART Gallery, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, nativity festival continues Thursday through Saturday, through December 18.
Hours are: Thursdays and Fridays, 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m.
The festival features more than 300 creches, decorated trees, marketplace and children’s area.
Upcoming Events
•On Fridays, December 2, 9, and 16, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., live painting by artist-in-residence Michelle Paine will be offered in the gallery with guitar music by Michael Brown. Visitors may enjoy a wine bar and snacks.
•On Saturday, December 10, from noon to 4 p.m., grandparents are invited to bring their grandchildren to make an ornament in the MakerSpace. There will be child-friendly snacks. Children may see the nativities and visit with Santa for selfies.
•Lunch and Learn “Carols of the Season” with flute, keyboard, harpsichord and bass will be offered on Thursday, December 15, at 11 a.m.
Traditions and stories related to the nativities will be shared. Lunch follows at 11:45 a.m.

•Academy Brass Quintet and organ in a Candlelight Christmas Concert is set for Sunday, December 18, at 4 p.m.
A short program including carol singing and seasonal pieces will be followed with a reception. Doors open at 3 p.m.

Visit the marketplace for handmade gift items–soy candles by Sarah, Simple Pleasure ornaments by Eva, Wooden cutting and charcuterie boards by Dave, Art for All Abilities ornaments by David, and jewelry/ornaments by friends in Haiti through Missions International. Cash, check, card all welcome with items very reasonably priced.
All nativity events are free of charge, but donations are welcome. Reservations are appreciated for the December 15 Lunch and Learn due to food costs.
St Paul’s Lutheran’s HeART Gallery is at 428 North Erie, downtown Toledo. Parking is free and handicap accessible.
