Toledo Humane Society’s PET OF THE WEEK

Meet Cutie and Rikki!

Cutie is a 5 1/2 year old black, male, domestic shorthair, and Rikki is a 4 1/2 year old male, brown, white and black tiger, domestic shorthair.

You know what they say, that “two is better than one.” Meet our cutest little duo-Rikki and Cutie.

Rikki and Cutie are brothers who are two of our longest stay residents. These sweet brothers have been with us since April and have now become our longest-stay residents. Thankfully, they are both currently residing in the comfort of a foster home, giving them a break from stressful shelter life. While it did take some time to adjust because they can be very shy, once they got comfortable, they became the most loving and affectionate guys.

Rikki finds enjoyment in looking out the windows, playing with toys and loves head scratches. Lately, he’s taken a liking toward brushings. As for Cutie, while he can be extra shy, he dissolves into purrs the moment you touch him. He melts when he feels love and affection from being petted, especially belly rubs. Together, they love playing and snuggling with each other.
