And the winners are...
The votes have been tabulated and winners of first through third place in the Happy Holland Days coloring contest selected. Holland Mayor Lee Irons led a panel of judges who selected the top three winners in each age category. At left are the first place entry winners in the 3 to 5 age, left, Arya Saucedo, and 6 to 8 years, far left, Annabelle Amos. The mayor, village council and community development committee would like to congratulate this year’s winners, who will be contacted by the village, to pick up their prizes. “I’d also like to thank Chick-fil-A for donating gift cards,” Mayor Irons said, adding that first place recipients will receive $30 gift cards to the restaurant; second place, $20, and third place, $10. Residents are reminded to mark their calendars for next year’s Happy Holland Days, which will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
