On December 17, the Journal staff delivered a number of bags of food and other supplies to an appreciative staff at the Wood County Humane Society. The food was donated by Perrysburg area residents as part of the newspaper’s holiday pet food drive. Above are WCHS staff Jenna Dunlap and Sophie Sprowl with Lambert, the
Journal’s mascot, who was adopted from the humane society five years ago. Lambert has just one wish this holiday season-that all his furry friends at the shelter find a “furever” home, even the ones that say “meow.” Journal staff would like to thank residents for their donations and wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
