Lucas County Commissioners seeking applicants for vacancy on the Board of Developmental Disabilities board of directors

The Board of Lucas County Commissioners is seeking to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term on the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities board of directors.

The commissioners desire applicants who are interested and knowledgeable in the field of intellectual disabilities and other allied fields, and to the maximum extent possible, have professional training and experience in business management, finance, law, health care practice, personnel administration or government service.

Applicants must be Lucas County residents holding U.S. citizenship.

The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ mission is improving life so that individuals with developmental disabilities reach their full potential.

Appointed trustees must be available to meet on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. More information can be found at lucasdd.org.

The appointment will be to complete an unexpired term through December 31, 2025. Preference will be given to applicants who utilize services offered by the LCBDD.
