The Toledo Humane Society is offering a Children for Humane Animal Treatment (CHAT) Club for ages 8 to 12.
The program will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays; January 28, February 25, March 25 and April 22.
Club members will learn more about the humane society, read to the animals, tour the shelter, play animal themed games, spend some time with adoptable animals and more.
The cost of $50 per child includes all four meetings. Space is limited, and registration is required. Refunds will not be offered for those unable to attend a meeting.
