Toledo Humane Society’s PET OF THE WEEK Meet Melvin!
Melvin is a small, male, 6year-old, white and cream, mixed breed.
He was rescued through our cruelty department, along with two other dogs and one cat. They were all found living in an abandoned home in deplorable conditions. Despite his past, Melvin is happy and eager to find his new forever home.
This sweet pup weighs 10 pounds and is the perfect little lap warmer. He is easy going, but nervous at first in new places and with people he doesn’t know. It won’t take him long to warm up and trust you, especially if you offer him treats.
Melvin would do best in a home with older children, as smaller children might overwhelm him. If you are looking for the perfect small breed companion, then look no further, because Melvin is your guy. Stop by the shelter today and meet him.
