Premier Bank has pledged $50,000 to the Metroparks Toledo Foundation. Funds will be used to support the Glass City Riverwalk project.
“Thanks to the support from partners like Premier Bank, Metroparks Toledo will construct and maintain a world-class riverfront park with 300 acres of greenspace, five miles of trails and recreational experiences along the Maumee River,” said Kate Smith, director of individual and corporate giving at Metroparks Toledo. “This project is so much more than just a park—it’s a project that will strengthen communities, provide access to nature, support economic development and preserve our natural resources for generations to come.”
Premier Bank is a local company, with its headquarters in Youngstown. “We believe in the power and importance of the Glass City Riverwalk project and are proud to support the Metroparks Toledo Foundation,” said Trish Gelsomino, foundation giving coordinator at the bank. “Working together we can make our community stronger.”
