Holland resident indicted by Wood County grand jury

Last month a Wood County grand jury indicted a Holland resident.

On February 1, William O. Torres, 42, 136 Deerfield Drive, was indicted on one count of importuning, a fifthdegree felony; disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a felony of the fifth degree, and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourthdegree felony.

According to court records, the alleged incidents occurred on December 12, 2022 and January 3, 2023.

If convicted on all counts, Mr. Torres faces more than three years in prison and fines of $10,000.

His case has been assigned to Common Pleas Judge Matthew Reger.
