The Wayman Palmer YMCA, 2053 North 14th Street, Toledo, will host local families at its “Growing in Our Community” event on Saturday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free event will feature a variety of vendors providing resource information for families and activities for children. Participating vendors include Imagination Station, Help Me Grow, Lucas County Children’s Services, AngelSense, AB Education Behavioral Consulting, Toledo Job and Family Services and Early Head Start. The Ability Center will also provide a sensoryfriendly room with calming activities and books provided by the YWCA.
In addition to vendor activities, the event will offer games, raffle prizes and food trucks.
