ODOT Weekly Construction Update

The Ohio Department of Transportation has released the following updates on road construction in the area.

I-475 and I-75 in various locations will be restricted during a lighting installation project. Information on specific work locations will be provided. Work will generally occur between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.

I-475 between Airport Highway and U.S. Route 24, Maumee, will have lane restrictions for I-475 widening and construction of a new interchange at Route 20A through December 2024. All traffic is maintained in the southbound lanes while work to reconstruct the northbound lanes occurs. Westbound Route 24 ramp to northbound I-475 is closed through November 2023. The detour is westbound Route 24 to southbound I-475 ramp to eastbound Route 24 ramp to northbound I-475 ramp.

Daily closures of Monclova Road under I-475 will resume April 10 to 14 for drainage work at the bridges. Closures will occur generally from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

U.S. Route 2 between I-475 and the Michigan state line, will have lane restrictions for noise wall installation through summer 2023.

U.S. Route 23/Anthony Wayne Trail between Monclova Road and Detroit Avenue, is reduced to one lane in each direction for a resurfacing and safety improvement project. The estimated completion is June 2024.

Other– Various routes will be restricted throughout the year related to a signage project, which will be complete in late October.
