Spring into science at Imagination Station

Each year more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day by learning how to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. Toledo’s science center invites everyone to get involved and help reduce the strain on Earth’s limited resources. Recycling Day Saturday, April 15 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Start cleaning out your attics, basements and garages. It’s time to get those hard-to-recycle- items, recycled.

In partnership with the City of Toledo, Imagination Station will serve as the first drop off point for the Clean Toledo Drop-Off Refuse and Recycling event of the season. Bring your TVs, tires (up to 10), cardboard, styrofoam and more to the science center and we’ll take care of the rest—you don’t even have to get out of your car.

Earth Week April 18-22

Free with Admission

More than 50 million tons of electronics are discarded every year. They are filled with mechanisms, circuitry, wires and more that can be recycled, but oftentimes these items end up in landfills.

Join us as we make an effort to make a difference. Bring in old toys and small electronics and tear them apart in the name of science and sustainability. Sort the bits and pieces and properly recycle them. It’s a great way for the whole family to learn how to use common hand tools and the value of proper recycling.

Meet and Greet with Ms. Frizzle and Blippi Saturday, April 22
