Power company FirstEnergy is offering free treeplanting opportunities and services for communities and non-profit organizations throughout their service territories.
The FirstEnergy Green Team volunteers will help promote responsible use of natural resources and assist in the advancement of sustainable practices in the community.
The Green Team will be offering services like tree selection, planting and cleanup.
Trees supplied are normally bareroot or in small pots.
FirstEnergy is willing to cover the cost of up to $10 per tree if a non-profit organization decides to supply its own trees.
