The third annual Fallen Timbers Art Festival will take place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5, at the Shops at Fallen Timbers in the former Gap space, suite 445.
Free and open to the public, the event will feature work from 38 local artists who were juried for acceptance. Among the items for sale will be paintings, photography, glass, clay and jewelry.
A wine and mead tasting also will take place. Participating businesses are Majestic Oak Winery, Four Fires Meadery, Funky Turtle Brewing Company, Vine 2 Wine Custom Winery of Toledo and Knotty Vines Winery.
Wine-tastings are $15 each and come with 10 drink tickets. Individual drink tickets are available for $2 each.
Food will be offered by: Lyle’s Crepes, Leaf and Seed and indoor coffee service by Rider Coffee Company.
A silent auction also will be held.
The art show is sponsored by the Shops at Fallen Timbers and the Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission. Proceeds benefit the arts commission to help with art related events and activities. A portion of the proceeds is shared with Bittersweet Farms’ creative arts program.
