Six Lucas County residents were appointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to serve in a variety of areas as follows: Michael Bridenbaker, of Monclova, has been appointed to the Owens Community College board of trustees for a term beginning October 27, 2023, and ending September 21, 2028.
John Rozic, of Waterville, has been appointed to the Ohio Higher Educational Facility Commission for a term beginning October 27, 2023, and ending January 1, 2029.
Nathan Turner, of Holland, has been appointed to the Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council for a term beginning October 16, 2023, and ending March 14, 2024.
John Mangas, of Sylvania, has been appointed to the Ohio Real Estate Commission for a term beginning October 27, 2023, and ending June 30, 2027.
Dan Dergham Ridi, of Maumee, has been reappointed to the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank release compensation board for a term beginning October 27, 2023, and ending July 10, 2026.
Diane Miller, of Toledo, has been reappointed to the Ohio Lake Erie Commission for a term beginning October 27, 2023, and ending September 1, 2026.
