The Halloween Howler was so much fun last week. Thank you to the Dorr Parents’ Club for such a wonderful event.
We had our fall PBIS sticker party to celebrate students for earning Dragon Way tickets last Friday. Ms. Kalo, Dorr Elementary’s school counselor, placed a candy corn sticker on random Dragon Way tickets that teachers passed out last month. If students earned a Dragon Way ticket with a candy corn sticker they were invited to celebrate with Ms. Kalo in the cafeteria with a special treat. Thank you to all of our students for doing things the Dragon Way and thank you to Ms. Kalo for organizing the sticker party.
Dorr Elementary also welcomed the Toledo Zoo’s Project Prairie back to our school prairie this week, as students learned in a hands-on environment with the Toledo Zoo. Students had a blast learning about the four seasons, growing plants and bugs. We can’t thank the zoo enough for the time they spent giving our students such a wonderful learning experience this past week.
Finally, the Dorr Parents’ Club Buff City Soap fundraiser will be taking place through November 18. Thank you for your continued support of Dorr Parents’ Club.
