Holland resident indicted by a Wood County grand jury

On December 6, a Wood County grand jury indicted a Holland resident.

Candice L. Coates, 44, 7908 Hill Avenue, was indicted on possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified government facility, a felony of the third degree.

According to court records, the incident allegedly occurred August 29.

If convicted on both counts, she faces up to six years in prison and fines of $17,500.

Her case has been assigned to Common Pleas Judge Joel Kuhlman.
