Hospice offers free advance care planning sessions at area libraries

In partnership with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, Hospice of Northwest Ohio will offer four advance care planning information sessions for the community. Sessions will be held at library locations through April.

One-hour presentations will provide an overview of completing a living will, designating a medical power of attorney and donating your organs.

Sara Chambers, community educator and advance care planning facilitator for Hospice, will be available afterwards to set up appointments to complete advance care planning documents.

Registration is not required. Session times and locations are as follows:

•Wednesday, January 24, Holland Branch Library, 1032 South McCord Road, 11 a.m. to noon.
