The Springfield High School Academic Boosters are holding a shoe drive.
Through March 29, the organization is accepting donations of gently worn, used and new shoes. They will be reused and given a second life by those in need through #microenterprise.
Shoes may be dropped off at any of the six schools in the district or the administration building, 6924 Spring Valley Drive.
In addition, there will be a drive-by drop off shoe event from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, February 17 at the high school, 1470 South McCord Road.
The drive does not include roller blades or ice skates.
