Area employers work with Penta students at annual Interview Day

More than 80 area employers who may hire students and future graduates visited Penta Career Center on March 15 to interview prospective employees. Hundreds of students participated in Interview Day where they had the opportunity to learn more about area companies and the interview process.

“This is an opportunity for our students to practice their interviewing skills in preparation for future job interviews,” said Marshall Wolf, career services coordinator at Penta. “Although the interviews are just for practice, some employers may hire students during this activity.”

Visiting employers covered a wide area of fields including retail, health care, education, agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, labor unions and construction. Participating employers included First Solar, Kingston Healthcare, Mercy Health, Ohio Department of Transportation, ProMedica, Shelley Company, Toledo Refining Company and the Toledo Zoo.
