On March 22, the Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated task force will conduct three sobriety checkpoints. The checkpoints will be at 1220 South Holland Sylvania Road, 2100 South Holland Sylvania Road and 7145 Garden Road.
They will be in operation from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will be staffed with officers from the task force. The checkpoints are paid for through a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
