The event took place in the school’s gymnasium, featuring an exhilarating basketball competition between Springfield eighth graders and Springfield Local Schools teachers. Additionally, the sixth graders participated on March 20 and the seventh graders on March 21. All grades had the opportunity to both spectate and participate. Hoops for Heart aimed not only to foster friendly competition, but also to raise awareness about heart health and the importance of physical activity.
