This year marks the 21st annual Sylvania Spring Expo and Market presented by Dave White Chevrolet and northwest Ohio Chevy dealers held Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the Sylvania Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter, 7060 Sylvania Avenue, Sylvania. This is one of the largest in northwest Ohio and features representation from more than 130 area businesses, organizations and farmers market vendors.
President/CEO Tiffany Bosch states, “The Sylvania Chamber is excited to host the 21st annual Sylvania Spring Expo and Market. The event this year features many attractions, including business and organization booths, a kids zone, giveaways, character visits and so much more. It is the perfect mix of business promotion and fun for the family.”
The health and wellness pavilion will allow visitors to engage with six ProMedica Flower Hospital departments. Returning in 2024, the popular kids zone, sponsored by Karate America, features children’s activities, a bounce house and special appearances by Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall.
Attendees of all ages can meet and greet local first responders at the safety zone, sponsored by Jet’s Pizza and the University of Toledo Medical Center.
Additionally, attendees will be able to win prizes through giveaways from the Sylvania Chamber and many of the business booths.
Free parking for the expo is on-site along with free admission.
The first 200 attendees will receive a community tote, courtesy of Advance Advertising, Oakleaf Village and Durocher’s.
The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce produces the expo and market. Additional sponsors include the City of Sylvania, Equipt, Commercial Van Interiors and Walker Funeral Home.
The event is familyfriendly, highlights local businesses and offers something for everyone.
