The Toledo-Lucas County League of Women Voters has planned an all county meet and greet featuring commissioners, mayors and trustees.
The event is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, May 20, at Ernest Brew Works, 3142 Central Avenue.
The brewery will offer drinks for sale, and a free appetizer buffet will be provided.
There will be informal and brief introductions of the representing elected officials at 6:45 p.m., and the evening concludes at 8 p.m.
The Hot Button committee of the league pursued the idea bringing public officials together to exchange ideas without an agenda, and citizens can meet the leaders in an atmosphere other than a formal meeting.
The league believes this is an opportunity for everyone involved to form alliances and gather ideas.
A member of Northwest Ohio Community Shares, the League of Women Voters of Toledo-Lucas County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit voter education and advocacy organization.
