TARTA, Toledo chamber to host free workshop

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) and Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a free workshop to offer guidance to small businesses hoping to work with TARTA on projects in 2024 and beyond. The workshop also will include updates to its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program.

It will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at the Crosby Conference Center at Toledo Botanical Garden 5403 Elmer Drive, Toledo.

Speakers will offer a review of upcoming projects at TARTA, answer questions on the procurement process and go over how to navigate TARTA’s purchasing web portal.

Attendees also can hear about TARTA’s updated DBE plan, and get an overview of next steps to qualify as a certified DBE.
