Springfield Township will host the annual Freedom Celebration at Community Homecoming Park, 7807 Angola Road, at the end of this month.
The celebration will take place from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 29 and will feature familyoriented activities, children’s games and local food trucks.
Participating vendors include Deet’s BBQ, Jojo’s, Mike’s Pizza, Porky’s Sweet Spot, Queso Kitchen, Saucy Slamwich, K&K Funnel Cakes, Snowy Summers, Suzy’s Lemonade and Toledo Mini Donut.
Activities are sponsored by the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition, 180th Fighter Wing and Sheetz.
The night will be capped with a fireworks display at 10 p.m. Sponsors of the celebration include the Countertop Shop, Elizabeth Scott Community, Holland Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Sam’s Club, Savage andAssociates, Sheetz and White Family Dealerships.
