Village Players Theatre will present the first in its Director Series, “Doubt: A Parable,” from July 18 to 21 at the theatre, 2740 Upton Avenue, Toledo.
Recipient of the 2005 Tony Award for best play and winner of a Pulitzer Prize for drama, the play is set in a Bronx school where Principal Sister Aloysius takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of conducting improper relations with one of the male students.
The cast is comprised of Father Flynn, Jake Spencer; Sister Aloysius, Nancy Wright; Sister, Samantha Heater, and Mrs. Muller, Natalie Brown Bostelman.
Showtimes are 7 p.m., Thursday, July 18; 8 p.m., Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, and 2 p.m., Sunday, June 21. Tickets are $15, and all sales are final and non-refundable.
