District Central Office We are so grateful for each and every one of our sponsors for our Christmas Gift Wish program, and Herbs Heroes really contributed something special. Dawn delivered her gifts to our district building and I wanted to give a special shoutout just to say thank you so much. This benefitted 49 families and filled 122 children’s Santa sacks. Ninety laundry baskets were filled with detergent, laundry sheets and necessities. There also were food bags for each and every family. Thank you so much, Herbs Heroes. Holloway Elementary Holloway Elementary’s sing-along was a blast. A big shoutout to the talented Elves ‘on the Shelf’ for organizing all the festive fun and spreading holiday cheer–Nelle Ratliff, principal, and Katie Munch, music teacher. Dorr Elementary Crissey Elementary The Crissey Elementary winter concert was a show-stopper. It was directed by Mrs. Theo Middleton. Thank you to everyone who attended. Holland Intermediate A Holland Intermediate shopping spree was held at Walmart, paid for by Springfield Friends of Holland Rotary. Thank you for blessing 19 students on that morning.
Putt-putt with a holiday twist. Mr. Brad Kerns at Dorr Elementary brought festive fun to P.E. with a creative spin on the game. The Dorr Elementary winter concert, directed by Mrs. Jennifer Gilbert Mercer, was held December 4.
