Springfield Students Attend Inaugural NLL Mental Health Conference
Springfield High School was proud to have 22 sophomore and junior students represent their peers at the inaugural Northern Lakes League (NLL) Mental Health Conference, held April 8, at Perrysburg High School. The event welcomed more than 200 students from NLL member schools for a day focused on mental wellness and self-care.
Led by Leadership Toledo, with support from the Zepf Center and Harbor– two leading local behavioral health organizations –the conference aimed to promote mental health awareness and equip students with tools to better manage stress, build resilience and foster a positive mindset.
Through a series of interactive activities, Springfield students explored strategies to improve their mental wellbeing, connect with others and grow in selfawareness. The experience allowed participants to reflect, learn and build connections not only with their classmates, but with peers from neighboring districts as well.
Springfield is proud of these students for their leadership and willingness to engage in such meaningful work.
