The Toledo Repertoire Theatre announces its upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning musical “SIX - Teen Edition.” This tale of Tudor queens is set to captivate audiences Friday through Sunday, August 8 to 10.
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor queens to pop icons, the six wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st-century girl power. The New York Times says “SIX” is “pure entertainment” and the Evening Standard hails “SIX” as “the most uplifting new British musical I have ever had the privilege to watch.”
The play is directed by Victoria Monhollen-Bandeen, music directed by Ben Tittl, choreographed by Jacob Toth and stage managed by Scott Heuerman. The cast consists of Charlie Garibaldo, Annabelle Bucko, Scarlett Dalton, Meg Amburgey, Aubrey Herrera-Hess and Eve Jackson.
Performances will take place at the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, 16 Tenth Street. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
