Isaiah 117 House, a Tennessee- based organization that provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement, will host “Framing the Future: An Isaiah 117 House Holy Graffiti Celebration” on Wednesday, July 16, at 10 a.m., in Lucas County.
This special event marks a meaningful milestone in the construction of the Lucas County Isaiah 117 House. Community members, supporters and partners are invited to write scriptures, prayers and words of encouragement directly onto the wooden framing of the home before drywall is installed, leaving behind messages of hope and love that will surround every child who enters.
“We are incredibly thankful to the Lucas County community for rallying around this mission,” said Ronda Paulson, founder and executive director of Isaiah 117 House. “Whether you’ve prayed, volunteered or given financially, this home is being built because of you. We hope you’ll join us in this powerful moment as we continue changing the way foster care begins in Lucas County.”
The event will feature several local speakers and Isaiah 117 House officials. All who have supported or are interested in partnering with Isaiah 117 House Lucas County are welcome to attend. About Isaiah 117 House Isaiah 117 House is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement. Currently, when a child is removed in a county without an Isaiah 117 House, the child must wait in the child welfare services office. The child is often dirty, hungry, tired, scared and unable to bring any personal possessions. Isaiah 117 House allows for that same child to never go to an office, but rather a home with loving volunteers to care for them.
