Caring for Our Students

Again this year, Holloway Elementary School has partnered with Connecting Kids 2 Meals to offer weekend food bags for students. These meals are completely free and will consist of two nonperishable snack and breakfast options. Families are welcome to request as many bags as needed for the number of children in their household.

Families interested in participating, and allowing their students to bring a bag home each Friday, are asked to please email our school counselor Tara Cowell at taracowell@springfield-schools.org to share their name and the number of bags requested, and their name will be added to the list. We also are looking to gather donations from Holloway families who are interested in sharing items like paper products, hygiene products, diapers or wipes. Our goal is to eventually allow families to take these products home as needed.
