Getting Spooktacular

Did you know that we are bringing back Trunk or Treat for our Holloway students and families? This year we will be having this spooktacular event on Monday, November 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Holloway Elementary School parking lot.

We are inviting all community members who would like to donate candy to visit the school; we have a drop-off area in the elementary office.

We will have a DJ, cos tume parade, food to purchase and will be giving away gift certificates for costumes and best decorated trunk. We hope to make this a huge community event and are excited to fill the parking lot with tricks, treats and fun. If you would like to attend the event or are interested in decorating a trunk, please RSVP to Hol lowayassoc.parents@gmail .com or follow their Facebook page.

Using all Our “School Tools”

If you haven’t tuned in to WNLB, 97.7 FM on your radio or downloaded the free app, now is the time to do so. In addition to the greatest hits of the “Golden Era of Rock-N-Roll,” between now and November 1 you also will hear three of our fifth grade student council members on the air. These students were selected to record an announcement on the radio just for this event— Ameerah Sanchez, Amelia Litton and Mason Kuhlenbeck got to work with Springfield High School teacher and Blue Devil radio advisor Mark Davidson, to record the spot. How spooky-cool is this?
