This week’s Journal reader did not travel far from home to capture a beautiful sunrise photograph. Steve Heckman of Holland discovered this rainbow early June 23 arching over Airport Highway near Menards and Kroger.

“I thought I would share it since it’s such a unique photo,” he said.

With COVID-19 restrictions lifted, readers and advertisers are encouraged to submit photos of themselves with the newspaper while on vacation. Try to include a familiar background. For example, Old Faithful geyser makes a good background for a reader visiting Yellowstone National Park.
