The Christ Child Society of Toledo is launching a new hygiene project. Developed over the past three months, this project will provide personal hygiene products to students in grades 4 through 8 at CCS Partners in Learning elementary schools: Gesu, Queen of Apostles, Hope Learning Academy, Rosary Cathedral and St. Patrick of Heatherdowns.

Copper Moon Studio invites all cardinal lovers to come make a cardinal of their own this Saturday, March 18, to benefit Nature’s Nursery. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the studio, 8007 Airport Highway.

The Actors Collaborative Toledo (ACT) and Trinity Episcopal Church will present “Winter Rain: Six Images of Thomas Merton” by Anthony Padovano on Saturday, March 25, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 26, at 3 p.m., at the church, 316 Adams Street, Toledo.

Holland-Springfield-Spencer Historical Society museum will open for the season Thursday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 7154 Front Street, Holland.

As we enjoy the third and final trimester of the 2022-23 school year, Crissey is actually saying “Hello” to two new members of our recess team. Join us in welcoming Amy Anderson, who is a new recess monitor.

We had a nice start to the third trimester, beginning with the kickoff event. Students had time to mix up with other teams and focus on having fun.

Springfield High School’s drama department will present its spring musical, “The Lightning Thief,” March 24 to 26, in the George E. Tombaugh Auditorium.
